The Antikythera shipwreck had the capacity to hold 300 tons, which is a typical example of heavy sailing. It was used in the 1st and 2nd century. The trade between the Italian Peninsula mainly Greek area and Minor Asia.
These ships’ journeys usually began in spring and sailed the Eastern Mediterranean sea, selling and buying goods. They returned back to their base in autumn.
